The "Expressway"

 When Ziva was a puppy, she used the expressway a few times.  She brought awareness to Peryn of the ease of using it.

The Expressway is the area behind the couch that backs the wall.  It takes them from the area next to the kitchen to the front of the living room. 

It went unused for quite awhile. Lately however, Peryn has been using it quite a bit. Mostly to get around or away from Volos.   When he antagonizes Volos enough, Volos will go after him. He uses the expressway to escape to the other side of the room. 

He now uses it whenever he just feels like it.  It's usually obvious that he's doing so by the movement of the curtains.   

Recently bought a small console table that goes behind the couch.   He just encountered it.  At first I felt really bad because his use of the expressway is cute.    I shouldn't have worried. Peryn is very persistent.  He went either underneath/through or found space next to it. He was able to traverse it.  

Now he's irritating me with his cheeseburger. 

Have I talked about the cheeseburger?  So many years ago we found a squeaky cheeseburger that he fell in love with.   We've replaced it numerous times.  No matter the version, he loves them. Even if they no longer squeak.   

We can't find any replacements at this time.  This happened before & it took awhile before they were being sold again. However I have a feeling we won't find these again. That happened with another of his favorite toys--an alligator.   

So--while he loves a lot of the toys we have and will play fetch with anything, his go to is his burgers. SO I will leave you with Peryn & his burger.
